Hair of a Corporate Slave

Don’t be boggled by the title , you actually will relate along few real facts by the end of this blog,  just pray you don’t get hair like a corporate slave !

You would have definitely seen yourself when you get out of your bed in the morning   or even s when you get down from a roller coaster ride believe me you would still be looking better from the one who gets up with a cal at 7.30 am and still cozying in the blanket and dreaming of all snow , mountains or even beaches and suddenly a shrivel of a bell wakes you up from your dream and you look at the screen of your phone without even deciphering the name just take the call and voila suddenly you become automated and put on your spectacles ( just in case if you wear one coz I do and god knows with the kind of screen time we have these days going don’t know  till when will these survive )

And you just start  blabbering something , don’t know even it made sense to the person on the other side, You troubleshoot the emergency call and now the sleep eludes you and you just start sorting your mails on the handset itself. You push yourself out of that blanket which keeps calling you back in.. 

get fresh wash your face and start  with your morning ritual of warm water but you are just half way thru that ritual and you are bombarded with call and mails  simultaneously.. you are juggling between these and you realize it’s mid day and your kids look at you if they are getting any lunch ??

 Remember that juggler in the circus who juggles with a lot of balls and doesn’t let any ball drop !

I start  on with preparing lunch with my handset consecutively stuck to my ear like a fevicol , by the time you are done with your lunch .. mind it you still have not looked at yourself all this while .. and suddenly around tea time your get a beep for a team zoom call and you realize you just have 10 mins to get ready for the call.  Suddenly the entire household is echoing with your scream  coz you just looked at yourself in the mirror and you refuse to recognize the person on the other side .. your hair are going in all directions … you really want to click yourself.. is that you? Ugh!! What have you done to yourself.. where is that me time / self care gyaan that you keep giving to the world.. 

In between your zoom meeting you try to keep yourself off camera when you hear a voice that guys if you had to be off camera what is the point of a virtual meeting.. you try to look presentable and switch on the camera .. but  still refuse to recognize yourself as you see yourself in the camera .. tried my best to settle those hair .. but seems they are more aware  of my situation than anyone else .. and what’s that even my eyebrows need to be done ..I refuse to recognize myself  before you are even over with the call you see you have message box filled and your fingers automatically start doing their work …. Typing back with speed x time to infinity ..
