RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT - A Guide For New Parents

Everyone here must be wondering "relationship management" is all about romantic relationships. But it's all about every relationship based on love. Be it mother- daughter, mother-son, father-daughter, father-son, sibling bond , friendships and every other relationship.

This is about dealing with the complexities of phases that every relationship goes through

Today lets talk about newly born parents!

Why I say newly born is that, It's a new phase of the relationship and it definitely doesn't come without its highs and lows.

The relationship experiences a complete change where either of their object of affection now primarily becomes the child. It's important to understand that while you're experiencing it for the first time so is your partner and that you both need to maintain healthy communication to be able to help each other through it. While time division won't be easy make sure you don't end up criticizing each other for being tired all the time.

Husbands need to be equal participants in raising the child, do not leave it entire;y on your wife. Division of duties is essentially important so that there is no blame game . Make sure each of you gets their "Me time" to recharge themselves.  Parenting has no perfect way hence, do what feels right for your child, just make sure it's healthy and happy.

Here are the following you might need assistance on:

  • CONSTANT FIGHTS
  • CRITICIZING THE LACK OF TIME YOU HAVE FOR YOURSELF.
  • APPRECIATING EACH OTHER FOR CONSTANT EFFORTS THAT YOU'RE PUTTING IN TO MAKE IT WORK.
  • ACKNOWLEDGE  AND RESPECT THE SACRIFICES THAT EACH OF YOU HAS MADE.
  • ASSURING EACH OTHER THAT WITH THE COMING OF A NEW MEMBER, YOUR LOVE AND BOND ONLY DEEPENS.
