It's The Little Things That Count.

From  last three weeks lives have come to a stagnant point.. we are just not moving forward.. it’s the quarantine time I am taking about.
Nothing seems to be same , you are working but your work is not giving you the real satisfaction.. that zeal seems to have disappeared.. times are tough for all .. this pandemic has affected everyone globally..
No house help, no cooks , I believe it’s Gods  own way of saying.. do not forget...your responsibilities..
suddenly it has become challenging for a family to be together 24 hours, you cannot go out you are confined to the four walls and the maximum that you can move out is till your balconies/patios or verandas.

Looking  out of my balcony I see a more clearer sky... seems it had been ages since I stared at the sky like that... it struck to me why I never spent time here before.. why didn’t I look at the beautiful surroundings around , could hear the birds chirping ... sitting on the jhoola.. I realized how peaceful it was to sit here and sip my morning tea.

Why Smart, Successful People Don't Value Happiness Enough | Fortune

In my rush to leave for work and then after returning in the evening cooking dinner and preparing myself for next day... I had completely forgotten it’s existence... never even had given it a second look.

It’s Gods way of making us all realize that in the race to grow professionally financially scientifically we have left our basic life somewhere behind... we cannot exist without our mobiles , social media seems the only way to feel connected not only to the world but with our families too
Without internet life comes to a halt.. children have completely forgotten what does a board game means.. google life has taken over them.

In this period of crisis we all are checking upon our loved ones .. honestly were  we doing this prior to these challenging times ... No we were not ... we had taken everything for granted .. never ever thought we can be struck by  something so drastic.. where everyone is under the panic if they will be the next to be hit by it!!
These times are tough but genuinely have brought me closer to reality where family bonds, love, trust, forgiveness, patience, all have become relevantly important in our lives...
we talk, we laugh, we argue, we fight , we get annoyed with each other but the only thought that we all are together, our loved ones are doing fine is what really matters.. we are more concerned about saving lives and relations , our surroundings than saving materialistic things.

At this moment I recall a famous quote from T. S .Elliot “ Every moment is a fresh beginning “

And this is a fresh beginning for all of us.. we have learnt the lesson hard way but maybe this was required to bring the humanity back to its senses.
A small self composed poem for all those who are working towards saving the human race and to us for realizing our mistake.

We salute and respect those
Who are day in and day out fighting to erode
This crisis which had made us all lost hopes
We had learnt Darwin’s theory
Survival of the fittest
But here we are the reason to behest
The planet Earth .. coz  we knew it will never quest
Voila!! Nature knows best
And it has put the entire humanity to test
It’s our call now to be a beast or bring this wrath to rest!!
